It saves a lot more time to use the washroom when it’s available than to waste time looking for one when it becomes urgent. It is also wise to pay a visit to your own washroom before heading off to your trip so it doesn’t become a necessity the minute you get on to the road.
  2. Buy your ticket early and book a room for any hotels beforehand. Doing so will save you a lot of time. You’ll avoid all the hassle of doing this in the last minute.
  3. Create a schedule. If you’ve got any specific plans while on your trip, having a schedule ready keeps you organized and punctual. If you know what you’re doing, you’ll spend less time figuring out the next step. Plan and write out your schedule the day before or earlier. You might also want to leave some clearance in your schedule for travel time our any unexpected delays. This way, your trip will be much more manageable.
  4. Pick your transportation wisely. Once you’ve arrived at your destination, you need to be wise about your form of transportation around. Although taking the bus may be cheaper than a taxi cab, it may not always be faster. I cab may be much more versatile and therefore quicker. On the other hand, taking the subway may prove to be more cost efficient and faster in the case of long distances.
  5. Keep your passport, identification and extra money handy. You never know when you’re going to need them. To avoid any inconveniences, make sure you’ve got these prepared.
  6. Bring your own food. Having your own food ready whenever you need it can save you some time. You save the time of having to go find a fast food restaurant and you also save money as well.
