If you are taking a trip to Las Vegas, and have allergies, there are certain warnings that you need to keep in mind. I have severe allergies and have traveled to Las Vegas many times. Make sure that you do not make the same mistakes that I have. Some of them could prove to be deadly if repeated.
The first suggestion is if you are traveling to Las Vegas and have allergies, make sure that you bring all of the allergy medication that you might need. I have had times in the past where I forgot to bring allergy medication, and not had enough time to head to one of the cheaper places to buy it, such as CVS.
I have had to buy allergy medication at the hotel’s gift shop and spent three times what I should have. Remember, some allergy attacks come on faster then you can move. Having your own on hand at any given time in Las Vegas goes a long way if you are prone to allergy problems.
If you are traveling to Las Vegas and have allergies, remember that chances are good that you will come in contact with flowers and plants that you might not have ever been around before. If you are heading into any of the botanical conservatories, animal exhibits, or pool areas in Las Vegas, you are going to be exposed to flowers and plants from all over the world. Keep your allergy medication on you at all time.
Also, if you are traveling to Las Vegas and have allergies, make sure that you never take your medication while power drinking. I once had to take Benadryl once after a morning of hitting many of the botanical gardens in Las Vegas. I ended up blacking out because of the fact that I had been drinking all day long. If it had not been for the quick movements of my wife, I would have tumbled down an escalator.
It should also be noted that many people find that they have less outside allergy issues while in Las Vegas than normal. This is because of the lack of humidity, the heat, and the fact that you are located in the middle of the dessert. Once you travel inside, you will be exposed to air systems that clean the air faster than you are accustomed to. This will also alleviate your allergy issues.
Keep your guard up, though, when you get into more secluded areas like the botanical gardens. These are where allergy attacks come on the fastest in Las Vegas. Again, make sure that you have your allergy medication on you at all times.
